Fighting Homelessness "In Our Own Backyards"

Few people are aware of just how serious the problem of homelessness is right here in Warren County. It doesn't take much - an illness, the loss of a job, even the loss of transportation can be the tipping point that pushes a family over the edge. Curious to know more? Check out the Homelessness/Poverty Fact Sheet.

Meet some of your neighbors whose worlds were turned upside down, and some of your other neighbors who, with Family Promise/ WCIHN, are committed to getting them back on their feet.

Watch the video that tells our story:     "In Our Own Backyards"

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”  Dr. Margaret Mead
