On March 25th Family Promise of Warren County held a Comedy Night fund raiser at Hawk Pointe Golf Club. What a night it turned out to be. A sell-out crowd enjoyed the great food and entertainment provided, and helped support the work of the Interfaith Hospitality Network agency in the process.
There are so many who helped make this a truly successful night. The Board of Directors of Family Promise would like to extend our special appreciation to Lisa Benton, Barbara Snyder and Deanna Mangieri for their invaluable help with organizing the event, and their outreach to the businesses and individuals who provided the sponsorship. We encourage all to visit the list of our sponsors below, to see who these sponsors were and to think about them when you are looking for goods and services.
Our thanks to all who made the time and financial commitment to attend this year’s event. You have helped us in our mission to provide a safe and dependable place for homeless families in Warren County to get back on track with their lives. And we recognize all the many volunteers who provide the shelter and support to our families day in and day out all year long. Our mission depends upon them and those who aid us financially throughout the year, and who keep the organization alive and successful.
On behalf of the Board of Directors I extend a heartfelt thank you to all who participated in this event. We are sure you had a great experience and hope you will join us again in the future.
Henry D. Dinger, Board President
On behalf of the families we serve and the Board of Directors, We would like to thank everyone who supported and attended the Family Promise of Warren County Second Annual Evening of Comedy on March 25th. Your support made the evening our most successful in the agency’s history. We had 238 in attendance and the event sold out AGAIN this year!
The Phillipsburg Best Buy Tag Team offered their leadership, expertise and time for the evening and they did a fantastic job. The evening would not have been as successful without their help and energy.
This is the first time that we have had a homeless center for families in Warren County. We are making a difference as we work with the community to end homelessness in Warren County….one family at a time.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s event and hope you are too!
Special thanks to the Hawk Pointe Foundation and Elizabethtown Gas Company for their grants for this event, to the donors of the silent auction items and especially to our financial sponsors:
