Help Still Needed

(continued from home page...)

Like other small, private nonprofit agencies, our contributions have dwindled during this tough time. We are working long and grueling hours, but we need everyone’s help to spread the word of our mission and of our successes to your friends, neighbors, co-workers and employers.

Maximum Results on a Minimal Budget

Nowhere is your gift going to go further. We are making real inroads to end homelessness in Warren County. We have helped 25 families with children in the IHN program get back on their feet, and in the last 12 months alone, we have assisted 107 Warren County households with the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program [HPRP] -- over 500 people.

All with limited infrastructure and funding, and a paid staff of just 1 plus our executive director! We could not have done this without the help of our dedicated volunteers and the gifts of our generous donors. Together, we are working tirelessly to make a difference in Warren county.

Great Opportunities Ahead

At this point, we are on the cusp of some great advances, such as:
  • Additional churches are joining this mission to host and support families in transition.
  • New funding ideas and options are being pursued to sustain this program.
  • Signature events such as our annual Evening of Comedy at Hawk Pointe Golf Club are being developed.
  • Housing homeless families with children and preventing evictions enable us to work both ends of the homelessness problem.
Ways To Help

As we continue our work to end homelessness, we need your help.
  • Help us to spread the word of our mission and of our successes to your friends, neighbors, co-workers and employers.
  • NEW -- Help us raise money AND save money for yourself by switching to Viridian as your energy provider - truly a "win-win" solution that also helps the environment.
  • Join our "Club 247."
  • Consider an end of year donation, or perhaps taking up a special offering at your church for our Interfaith Hospitality Network.
  • Other ideas? Let us know!
