Dennis Winegar, Esq.
My name is Dennis Winegar and I am currently the President of the Board of Trustees for Family Promise of Warren County. Next year will be my sixth year on the Board, however, prior to re-joining the Board in 2016, I previously served on the Board in 2011 and 2012. I am proud and honored to be a part of such a wonderful and altruistic organization. I grew up in a very poor area of Florida, and I saw firsthand how homelessness and poverty can stymie families’ plans and dreams. As a Family Law attorney, I’ve always been drawn to wanting to help families who are going through hard times. When I first met Bob Frankenfield (the Executive Director of Warren County Family Promise) back in 2011, I was immediately drawn to his caring and enthusiastic personality in wanting to help families. In addition to many attorney-related organizations and committees, I’ve been a Board member of Legal Services (for both Warren County and Northwest Legal Services), so I’m familiar with community based assistance programs. Having been blessed with my own wonderful family, I cannot think
of a better way to “pay it forward” than to serve as a member of the Board of Trustees for Family Promise of Warren County.
