Family Promise of Warren County regrets that David Cheatham, the Treasurer, has resigned from the Board of Directors due to work responsibilities and to avoid potential conflict with our grant application process with the County of Warren. We regretfully accept his resignation and recognize the professional commitments required of Dave.

Dave remains active in the community and he will be a great advocate. He will continue to be a supporter of the agency and the work we do with families in transition as we continue to expand the Network and programming.

Employed by the Warren County Division of Temporary Assistance and Social Services since 1978, Dave has always been an advocate for families and children. Currently, he is the Chairperson of the Warren County Department of Human Services, Human Services Advisory Council and he is a member of the Belvidere School Board and the Sons of the American Legion 131. He is a longtime Belvidere resident having lived and worked in Belvidere since 1978. Dave has assured us that we will continue to see him at Family Promise gatherings and fundraising events.

The new interim Treasurer is Sharon Cooper. Sharon was previously employed by Brown and Brown of NJ Inc. She has been actively involved in community service for many years. She has served on the Board of the local domestic violence center, and she is currently on the Board of the Stepping Stone School in Pohatcong Township.
