Our special thanks to the United Presbyterian Church of Belvidere and Panther Valley Ecumenical Church for their generous help!
As is common with all Family Promise/IHN affiliates, unexpected schedule issues sometimes arise due to church facility renovations, conflicts with the host schedule that are irreconciliable due to extreme circumstances, etc, etc.
We recently experienced some schedule issues and we are so fortunate to have the good folks at the United Presbyterian Church of Belvidere and the Panther Valley Ecumenical Church in Allamuchy step up and take care of the open host weeks in our Interfaith Hospitality Network.
Ann Rogers, Rheva Smickle, Kathie Luton and all of the folks at the United Presbyterian Church of Belvidere graciously offered to host for two consecutive weeks during one of the hottest and busiest times of the year. THANK YOU!
And Ron Torlucci and Pastor David Wright from Panther Valley Ecumenical have taken on the week of July 21 - July 28. They are collaborating with Shana Kisatsky and the folks at Ss. Peter and Paul and also with Lisa Valentino from the Church of the Assumption in Hackettstown.
Thank you so much for your commitment and support for the most vulnerable families with children in our own backyards!
We still have open host weeks for September 1 - September 8 and October 20 - October 27.
Please speak with your fellow volunteer coordinators and church leadership to see if it is possible to host one of those open weeks.
And Oxford Second Presbyterian Church will also be undergoing some construction on their chapel, where they host the IHN families and they may be unable to host families during their scheduled week of September 29 - October 6. Please consider helping out! Perhaps you would be able to host families for two consecutive weeks also.
Bob, Deanna, and Mary Pat
