LEADERSHIP WARREN is a program offered through the Warren County Regional Chamber of Commerce to high school juniors who have a deep commitment to our community, who have achieved high levels of leadership in their centers of influence, and who are likely to assume greater responsibility in the future.

Leadership Warren participants hone their leadership skills, network with their peers and develop the tools needed to take their careers and personal goals a step further.

After graduating from this program, participants return to their individual organizations and businesses to strengthen and enhance the overall development of their business environment and community.

This year, Leadership Warren Youth adopted Family Promise of Warren County as the private non-profit agency to assist in their contest with other high schools. Through their competition between the high schools in Warren County, they secured necessary items needed for the Family Promise Interfaith Hospitality Network, Family Promise’s main program. They even collected monetary donations for the agency.

This was accomplished by holding fundraisers including car washes, Friendly’s Fun Night, book sales, roadside cleanups, and even soliciting corporations and businesses.

Bob Frankenfield, Executive Director of Family Promise of Warren County, said that “This is a fantastic group of young leaders. They went above and beyond to assist our agency. Their commitment to this challenge and their hard work securing items and funds for our program for homeless families is incredible. Belvidere High School won the challenge but everyone, at all of the high schools involved, did a fantastic job!”
