To date, our Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) shelter program has assisted 81 households and Family Promise of Warren County has assisted 394 households in our complementary Homelessness Prevention, Rapid Rehousing and permanent supportive housing programs and partnerships (HPRP).
For the past 7 years we have been able to provide necessary services to county residents as a private nonprofit agency without being a burden to the taxpayers of Warren County.
We are extremely proud that our very small agency was able to bring in federal and state funding totaling $1,462,056.00 for Warren County families in need of service.
This has allowed us to develop programs and infrastructure for county residents without county funding and without expense to county taxpayers. We have leveraged federal dollars from HUD to develop the agency and provide essential services.
The majority of the federal and state funding directly serviced the residents of Warren County by paying for past due rents to prevent evictions, security deposits, and utility deposits.
We administer these other complementary and vital programs to help re-house the families we serve and prevent homelessness by paying rents and security deposits.
All IHN contributions are designated solely for the IHN shelter program and never fund the rehousing or prevention programs.
Unfortunately, our NJ Division of Family Development emergency shelter funds have been reduced by $50,000, putting the IHN program at great risk of ending and closing.
Please support our fundraisers and help us to get the word out that we are an agency that provides essential and much needed services to our community.
Thank you for your support,Bob Frankenfield,
