Our thanks to the Belvidere Elementary School Builders Club, their advisors, Kristi Weber, the fathers and daughters in attendance, and everyone from the Oxford Street School who helped to make the Father/Daughter Dance so successful.

The proceeds from the dance were donated to Family Promise of Warren County so that we may continue to serve some of the most vulnerable families with children.

The Builders Club is an international student-led organization providing members with opportunities to perform service, build character and develop leadership.
Their core values include:
• Character building: The ability to do the right thing, even when it might be the unpopular choice.
• Leadership: The ability to listen, communicate, serve and guide others.
• Inclusiveness: Accepting and welcoming differences in other people.
• Caring: The act of being concerned about or interested in other people or situations.

Clubs are chartered in partnership with a Kiwanis club and a school or community-based organization serving middle or junior high school students. You can learn more about this amazing organization at their web site:

This is not the first time that this club has provided financial support to the families and children served by Family Promise, and we are deeply grateful.
