Thank You to all our volunteers!

April 21 – 27, 2013 is National Volunteer Week. It is also a time to recognize folks in our communities for doing extraordinary volunteer service. Established in 1974, National Volunteer Week highlights the impact and power of volunteerism and service as a vital aspect of our communities and civic leadership.

As volunteers involved with Family Promise of Warren County and the Interfaith Hospitality Network, you demonstrate that there are so many positive things happening here at home. You exemplify the importance of volunteerism by your unselfish actions to assist families in need. You prove that by working together, we have what it takes to meet challenges and accomplish our goals.

Especially during this week, we would like to thank you. Through your collective power and fortitude, all of you, individuals, families, congregations, businesses, schools, and civic and community organizations that are far too numerous to mention here, have made it possible for us to assist families to achieve sustainable independence by offering a hand up, not just a hand out.

National Volunteer Week is about taking action and encouraging individuals to be at the center of social change –demonstrating the power of volunteerism. You have done that!

From the families we serve, the staff and our volunteer Board of Directors, Thank You!

Bob Frankenfield, Executive Director
Deanna Mangieri, Case Manager
Mary Pat Colledge, Administrative Assistant

Everyone is welcome to participate in our program, here in our own backyards.
