Service to others is an important part of the Boy Scout oath and Family Promise of Warren County is very pleased to be the beneficiary or a great Eagle Scout Service Project.
Jonathan Carlile took on the massive project of restoring our parking lot. Even the gloomiest days did not stop him and his hardy crew from Boy Scout troop # 2010 from working on this project at the Family Promise of Warren County Day Center.
Jonathan was the leader for this much needed parking lot restoration, and he did a great job repairing this area for the agency’s passenger van and employee parking.
One of the rank requirements for Boy Scout projects is to plan, develop, and give leadership to others in a service project helpful to a nonprofit organization such as Family Promise.
Through this requirement, Jonathan practices what he has learned and gains valuable project management and leadership experience.
Special thanks to soon to be Eagle Scout Jonathan for his hard work and to his troop and leaders for their role in his journey for making our area safer for the families we serve!
