On Sunday, May 6th, from 1pm to 3 pm, volunteers are invited to join in the 3rd annual CROP WALK in Phillipsburg, NJ.

Sponsored by the ecumenical Phillipsburg Ministerial Association, the CROP WALK raises awareness of people and countries where the basic needs we all count on are lacking, such as clean drinking water, food and shelter. And this year, the amount of the funds raised that stays "local" has been designated to go to Family Promise/WCIHN.

The Phillipsburg Ministerial Alliance includes Old Greenwich Presbyterian, St. Luke's and Alpha United Presbyterian, all of who actively participate with Family Promise as "Host" churches. It also includes Pilgrim Presbyterian, which participates as a valuable support church for our program.

There are many ways to in this important effort in addition to walking. You can sponsor a walker or a team; donate refreshments for walkers; volunteer to give out water to the walkers; and more.

More details are in the downloadable pdf file below, or click here to visit the website.
