Being a Board member for Family Promise of Warren County is not a task to be taken lightly. It is not just attending a meeting once a month. A Board requirement is that members are fiscally, legally and morally responsible for the health and well being of the agency. They are also responsible to oversee the implementation of policies and programs. We are very pleased to announce that Ann M. Rhinesmith has stepped up to accept those responsibilities.
Ann is a a Rutgers University Faculty Emeritus, having been an Associate Professor with Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Warren County for 26 years. During her work-life she served as Vice President and as a Regional Director of the National Association of Family Consumer Sciences. She also co-directed two grants for low income folks in the Phillipsburg area. Her "work-life" specialties were Human Relations/Development with an emphasis on Parenting Skills and Leadership Development.
Ann is very involved in the community. She volunteers for Havens for Hope and she is an Advisory Council Member and Peer Leader with NORWESCAP's RSVP progam, an Advisory Council Member for Warren County Public Health Nursing Agency, and an Advisory Council Member for Family and Community Health Services of Warren County. She also serves as Treasurer of Silver Lake Property Owners Association in Hope, NJ. With all of this experience and dedication to the community, we are sure that Ann will make a great Board member and we extend a warm welcome to her.
