Many thanks to the 72 Girl Scouts from the Warren Hills Service Unit who participated in beautifying the Family Promise/IHN Day Center during the Girl Scout "Make a Difference Day."

The girls in attendance ranged in ages from 6 to 17.

Special thanks also to the 15 Girl Scout leaders and parent volunteers, especially Michelle Zignoli, who coordinated the day's work, and to Family Affair Florist in Washington, NJ who graciously donated 2 yards of mulch and 8 bushes and shrubbery.

Everyone was busy digging up dead bushes and replacing them with good healthy plants.

The service project also consisted of the senior and ambassador girls from the Warren Hills Service Unit scraping and painting the back porch, cadettes and junior girls pulling weeds and spreading mulch and even the brownies raking and bagging leaves. In addition, they donated 4 boxes of much needed supplies for the Center.
