3 Box Cities Raise Funds & Awareness

2013 was a banner year for getting the word out about homelessness in Warren County, as youth groups from not one but THREE Warren County churches sponsored Box Cities in their communities!

Our thanks to the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Hackettstown, the United Presbyterian Church of Belvidere, and St. Theodore Roman Catholic Church of Port Murray, and all their volunteers for their hard work.

The churches not only raised a combined donation of $4142 to help FPWC/IHN, but also helped to raise important awareness about the greatest victims of homelessness:
families with children under 10.

Sadly, families with young children continue to be the fastest growing group of homeless in America. And here in New Jersey, the high cost of housing plus stagnant wages are putting children and families at even greater risk.

But with the help of churches like Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the United Presbyterian Church, and St. Theodore Roman Catholic Church, we're getting the word out. And Family Promise continues to assist families in Warren County to achieve sustainable independence.

Thanks to ALL for your Support!
