Paying the Bills, Making $8.50 an Hour

Imagine this...

You are the sale support of your family which includes a 5 year old.

You work forty hours per week, making $8.50 per hour.

Because you don't have a high school education and limited skills, this is the best job you have had in years.

Look at the bills for this month ($3,352) and decide how to spend your income:

  • How did it feel to have so few resources?
  • How did you prioritize? What won't you pay?
  • If the bill was related to your child, how will you explain your decision?
  • How could you manage your money better?
