Ever considered helping families in need, but not sure how, or what's required? Here's your chance to find out! All are invited to attend our next IHN volunteer orientation and training session:
7 pm on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 212 E. Moore Street Hackettstown (Doors will open at 6:45, and training will start at 7:00)
Learn more about the Interfaith Hospitality Network program, and how we help families hit by severe hardship get back on their feet. Discover what a typical day is like for our families in the network, and learn practical tips on how you can help them.
A Family Promise training video will be presented, and we will review some of the many rewarding volunteer opportunities available in the backyards of our Warren County communities. Please feel free to share this information with anyone you know who might be interested, including neighbors, friends and work associates. All are welcome.
Even if you can't volunteer immediately, or just want more information before you decide, we hope you'll join us. And if you decide you do want to volunteer, you will already be trained and ready to go!
If you plan to attend, just RSVP as soon as possible by calling us at 908-453-2194. We look forward to seeing you there!

Many thanks to Ernie LaRose, President of Offtec Inc, for his donation of an effcient refurbished CS-1810 copier to the Family Promise of Warren County Program. This not only comes at a time when our old printer was at the end of it's life span, but also offers a cost-effective alternative, with cost of printing only 2 cents per copy. |

Are you licensed to drive? If so, we could sure use your help, especially during these summer months! Unlike most Family Promises and IHN's nationally, we count on volunteers to help us get our families back and forth from the host churches to the Day Center. We especially need drivers evenings and weekends.
Just give us a call at 908-453-2194, or click here to contact us.
Thanks in advance for your help in this critical area of need! |

Special thanks to everyone for their generous donations of clothing for the IHN families and children!
Unfortunately, due to limited space, we have to temporarily refrain from accepting clothing donations, as we are now at full capacity at the Day Center.
In addition, our storage facility is now completely full with donated furniture. It would be most helpful to have another storage unit donated to FPWC/IHN, especially in the Washington/Hackettstown area, so if anyone is able to help with this, please let us know. For now, we will email specific clothing and furniture requests when there is a Guest Family in need.
THANKS again for all your help!!
