Fighting Homelessness
"In Our Own Backyards"

Our Mission

The mission of Family Promise of Warren County is to achieve sustainable independence for homeless and low-income families and individuals by mobilizing community resources to provide shelter, meals, re-housing, training, and support services leading to permanent housing and lasting self-sufficiency.

"People who are homeless are not social inadequates. They are people without homes."

Sheila McKechnie

Our Vision

Our Vision is a community, and a country, in which every family and individual has a home, a job, and the opportunity to build a better future.

"I wanted you to know how wonderful your program is and that you really do help people. I am finally happy and comfortable in my new home, I have a bathtub and took a bubble bath for the first time in years. I have a deck so I can go outside and not be on the sidewalk. I enjoy my new atmosphere and new neighbors, I have never been able to talk to my neighbors before. I am really grateful and my life has changed so much because you helped me."
